What time do I need to be at the Diamond Skills Summer All American Camp on day one?
Please arrive for registration 30 minutes prior to the start of camp.
How do you record the measurables?
Prep Baseball Report records all the measurable during the event. This will be posted to the Diamond Skills website and a player profile will be created by PBR on their website as well.
What if my child gets injured?
We will have a medical staff member. Our staff also has members that are CPR certified and Concussion certified. Any serious injury, an ambulance will be called. There are no refunds for injuries at any time.
What types of bats should we use?
ALL players will use -3 BBCOR.
Can we wear metal cleats?
Players need to bring cleats, turfs and running shoes. Players should also bring shorts for the classroom sessions.
Will players eat lunch?
No. We will have two sessions (AM/PM) and we want to maximize our time on the field. Water is provided at all camps. A snack stand sells food, drinks, and snacks at each camp.
How much playing time will my child receive?
We have a “dynamic” game set-up, which is structured differently than a regular game. Each primary pitcher is guaranteed to throw to 4 batters. We will work to get position players 3 innings and 3 at-bats.
What happens if I can only attend one day?
You are more than welcome. Remember, some schools will be in attendance for just 1 of the 2 days. We cannot discount our rate because we are limiting the number of players per session. Your information will be sent out to every coach in attendance (even on the day you aren’t there).
What is the confirmation policy?
A player is confirmed when the deposited check is returned or if he receives an online confirmation receipt.
What is your refund policy?
If your ballplayer is unable to attend a scheduled camp, you must notify Diamond Skills Baseball in writing by sending an email to Diamondskillsinfo@gmail.com.
Any requests for a future credit will be governed by the following policies in all circumstances:
All future credits granted under the guidelines above will be valid for one year from the end date of the originally-purchased event. When registering for another event, this credit may not be used to register for an event that is already at capacity (either as a whole or at your intended Primary Position) by the time the request is submitted. In the event that the cost of a future event is more than the amount credited, the purchaser is responsible for any remaining balance.
COVID-19 Refund Policy
Diamond Skills Baseball has updated its policies for events impacted by coronavirus and related NCAA, government and public health decisions.
Refunds for Cancelled Events:
If circumstances require any Diamond Skills Baseball camps to be cancelled in 2020, we will provide families with the option for a full refund for impacted sessions.
Families will also be offered the option to transfer to any of our other showcase camps that still have availability at your position, or to any rescheduled event.
Future Credit Policy:
If your camp runs as scheduled but you wish to cancel your registration, families will receive a full credit that can be used on a future camp through the summer of 2022.
This credit does not need to be used on the same ballplayer as the original registration. This credit can be transferred to a sibling, friend, or teammate who is age-eligible and wishes to attend a Diamond Skills Baseball Camp.
What is your inclement weather policy?
In the event of inclement weather, Diamond Skills Baseball, at its sole discretion may adjust programming, including but not limited to the game and showcase schedule, to get in as many camp activities as possible. Any changes to programming will be directed to ensure the maximum amount and quality of programming in all cases. Please check the Diamond Skills Twitter account and Facebook account 2 hours before the start of an event for weather-related changes.
Regardless of any programming adjustments made by Diamond Skills Baseball, all events remain fully non-refundable in the event of inclement weather.
