Summer 2019 All-American Camp

Diamond Skills Baseball and Prep Baseball Report are teaming up to create the top summer showcase camp on the East Coast. Division 1, 2 and 3 college coaches as well as professional scouts from around the nation will descend on Washington D.C. to help high school players pursue college and professional baseball opportunities. Diamond Skills Baseball has a reputation in the college baseball community for running the most efficient and highly organized camps in the country. These camps maximize exposure and repetitions allowing players to both get better and get seen!

Day 1, Infield/Outfield camp: 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
Day 1, Pitcher/Catcher camp: 11:30 am to 4:30 pm
Day 1, Both camps (IF/OF & P/C): 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Day 2, All players: 9:00 am  to 6:00 pm

High School players only (classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022)

Infield/Outfield camp: $425
Pitcher/Catcher camp: $425
All Day, Both Camps: $550


Day 1 highlights, infielders and outfielders (9:00-2:30)

Pro-style defensive workout
Pro-style offensive workout

*All position players will go through several offensive stations including live batting practice on the main field.

Metrics recorded for the following:
60-yard dash
30-yard dash
Infield arm strength
Outfield arm strength

Classroom breakout:
Understanding proper nutrition/hydration for peak performance
Understanding social media & communication

 

Day 1 highlights, pitcher and catchers  (11:30-4:30)

Pitchers: Arm strength, arm health, and conditioning in classroom
Pro-style defensive workout for catchers
Pro-style offensive workout for catchers
Pro-style bullpen workout for pitchers

*All position players will go through several offensive stations including live batting practice on the main field

Metrics recorded for the following:
60-yard dash
30-yard dash
Pitcher velocity
Catcher arm strength/pop times

Classroom breakout:
Understanding proper nutrition/hydration for peak performance
Understanding social media & communication


Day 2 highlights (9:00-6:00)

Live games to be played in a dynamic format:
We will work to provide all position players with three (3) live at-bats and three (3) innings in the field at their primary position
We will work to make sure all pitchers face four (4) batters

Classroom breakout:
How to communicate effectively with college coaches in person, over the phone and via email
College eligibility requirements
Weight training and speed training instruction
